Speaking at the opening, Dangote said, “we are very impress to have this kind of hope here and we are looking forward to have an Airport with this kind quality. I am challenging the minister that we are expecting Airbus A380 next year. We hope to have more of this as I wish Sam Iwuajoku expansion.

Speaking at the opening Sirika, said “I am more than delighted happy to be here today for many reasons; as a minister, my purpose is to create support, sustain businesses, and encourage them to continue to grow to deliver the best to our people and employment. There is no doubt that this is unique because there is nothing like this in Africa and I believe that this is the beginning of journey of the investment of private sector into aviation to achieve the kind of aviation that we need in Nigeria. I know that with your partnership with Hilton, you can go wrong; you can be sure of the support of the government in this venture and in other endeavour you wish to undertake and I want to re-emphasise that the putting together of numbers of men and women in our country who are creating wealth, sustaining employment, it’s not easy, to put all these people together here today speaks volume of his personality and integrity and his own focus and business thought. We are proud of him and we are sure he would do more.

Within the first quarter of next year, the world’s biggest passenger airplane, Emirates’ Airbus A380 will land in Nigeria and we have the facilities to receive such an airplane
We noticed that the opening of Ghana terminal was well celebrated on Twitter, and I think Twitter will not have space to handle when we open Abuja and Port Harcourt. And of cause the remaining terminal will be opened, but haven’t said this I am sure especially my friend … The intention of this government regarding aviation is to concession this airport, we must hand it to private sector. We do not intend to cede the asset completely to private hands, we intend to concession it for the period of twenty to thirty years in such a way that they will run it efficiently, for private sector to make their money and for us to get the service that we need. Nigeria is a place to be, if you come to Africa and you haven’t been to Nigeria you, have not come to Africa. Nigeria is over 180 million people with official GDP of half a trillion dollar, unofficial of about one trillion dollar, with purchasing power and ability to do businesses, every business comes here . Number of Air passengers in Ghana last year was only four hundred and fifty thousand (450,000) but here, with all the dilapidated structure on the airport which we are working hard to improve, Nigeria had about 16 million passengers, that is, thirty times Ghana market and we are so lucky for our geography to be in the Centre of the world so, we are in the right location and our Lagos airport is doing well.

On his part, Executive Director / Business Innovation Manager, Quits Aviation FZC , UcheIwuajoku, said, “What make us unique is that whenever we have people coming to the master suite or the VIP rooms, we offer chartered service for them in the hotel as well.

Our target market are the business men, people who come for quick stay. So, instead of you going to the island to have your meetings, you could choose Legend Hotel, we have amazing facilities, you can have your Skype session, web screen, and we have board rooms as well.
